'Value' on pressure pads

What's the 'value' setting on pressure pads? Is this the same as the four-bit memory on AND/OR gates? Does a pressure pad only trigger it's action if it's activating actuators send directions to match this value?
For something I'm working on, I hope so....

don't understand the question!
pressure pads 'inputs' - steppers type (object, monster, player), steppers characteristic (certain object, character's direction)
outputs - activation effect, targetted to an object's face (irrelevant to teleporters, doors etc, of course)
not sure what value you mean, but it would be tied to the thing stepping on it/placed on it, nothing to do with actuators also targettign it, unless paul has overhauled this code

Nah, in CSBuild, there's a text field on pressure pads labelled 'Value'. Bottom right of the dialogue box, near the Delay inpout field.

If you check the Tecnical Documentation and look at
the 'Particular' diagrams for the Pressure Pads you will
see that one case (Party Steps On) uses the value
field.
I could not see that it was useful -- since toggling the
'NC' (Normally Closed) switch appeared to accomplish the
same thing. So I did not implement it. I should remove it
from the dialog. I don't have any idea what the purpose
might have been except that the number 20 must have had
some meaning to someone at some time.
