Is there any method to convert my old save game to the latest version of RTC ?
I started my current game months ago, and im figthing the pain rats at level 8 - halfway thru the game, that is. I tried copying my savegame file to the new versions directory, but the game couldnt read the file
Im just hoping i could resume my old game in newer version without having the need to restart the whole game ..

Afraid not, the saved game isn't even editable, let alone converting to the new versions
Also, v0.29 is on the horizon, and i'm not sure but i think the format may change again slightly
But it's all good, it's coming closer and closer to v1.0 all the time!
i would start again anyway, v0.12 is very old, there are a few nice features i'm sure are missing, as well as potential bugs (would have to loook up the archive to see what) But for example, I'm sure you won't have the CSB dungeon in v0.12! : )

Damn, i though someone had figured a way to convert them ..
Oh well, i just finished lvl 10, but my party is too weak to kill those black flames and materializers, thus i cant get any further no more.
I guess ill just start new CSB game in 0.28 then, since im almost passed the DM anyway - i dont want to spend days on war crys at screamer generator to go further. I just dont have the time to do the repeative monotonic "training", thus my party can never reach even expert in any skills other than wizardy
Speaking of witch, last time played DM about 6 years ago, amiga had (and guess still has

) the "joystick repeat" thingy, but PC has none autofire... are there no trainers to pass the training on auto ?
My mouse would not survive the training ..

umm, you shouldn't need to train though, and it always amazes me when people do
if you are worried about levels, funnily take one character - you get all the experience, so they zoom through the levels quite fast!
rather than train, you can also edit the initial dungeon and boost the stats of a player that way
anyway, have fun with whatever route you go!
