Dungeon Master Forum

Haven't posted for a while but when I start a new thread in this forum you just know I've buggered something else up .
I just started making a new dungeon...it's pretty crap but I'm just messing around for now, making like a tutorial thingy for newbies...might send it to my friend to play. Anyway...I dunno if I've inadvertently changed something I shouldn't have, but for some reason all the text in the dungeon (flooritem text, wall text, scrolls) comes out as runes rather than as letters. I mean, I typed the various messages in the editor okay, but when I playtest the dungeon all the messages come out as gibberish. What do I need to do to make it come out in English as opposed to...erm...runish?

Did you enter it all in upper-case?

Indeed. Uppercase for proper letters, lowercase for runes (a=LO, b=UM, etc.)

Have sorted it now . Dungeon is gonig well...well, it was except I've buggered it up by attempting something kind of complicated which makes if bomb to desktop when I try to compile it...but I've sent it to George to see if he can tell me what I did wrong .

To pre-empt a possible posting - V0.28 doesn't have the full set of runes in the font used for wall text, so you might get a few blanks as well.

This is fixed for V0.29 though...

That's okay...I haven't put any runes on the walls, only in scrolls and they've come out fine. I'm at college atm so I can't check out what you said might be wrong with my dungeon, but as soon as I do (hopefully this evening) I'll reply to you saying if it worked or not.
Do you know when v0.29 will be done, or has that already been posted somewhere else? Or do you not know yet?
