Nice list !! :D Did you see the two links I posted?

And have a look at this beauty: http://www.geocities.com/the_gaming_hq/alpha.html

Oh... and go play "11 Somerset" from the list of your link. Great game...

That dark room game is rough. I solved all six color puzzles, but I'm stuck on the white one, and I don't want to look at the walkthrough. Anybody get out of the room? Maybe just a tiny hint so I know what the crap I'm doing. ;)

Update: Whew! Finally solved it.

Apart from clicking on those colour buttons, I haven't done anything yet. I noticed that when you click one orange colour, the other one goes off - that's when I decided to leave it for now. LOL

But the best game yet is "11 Somerset". Wow... once you get the hang of it, it's great. There is no walkthrough or hints because when you solve each case and give your verdict, you give your name and email address and you get an email sent, telling you if you were correct and how well you have done. Very realistic this game. Speech and all - like Myst almost. :D

Valderra: it's a matching game. (It was hard for me, too. I suck at memory games.)

Here's a hint for the white room: the solution lies in all the other rooms.

By the way, have any of you guys tried this one?

EDIT by Admin: Nice new family friendly URL found:

http://www.corwin.ca/gridlock/

I got stuck on stage 13 for a few days. After that, it was a breeze until stage 31.

EDIT by Tom: Thanks Gambit. Sorry about the lack of warning.

Tom, you'll see I edited your post to add a warning. Please warn when making links of this nature -- not everyone appreciates such stuff. Thanks.

I've found a less distasteful URL for gridlock and amended Tom's post accordingly. I do not want to be in the habit of promoting such stuff on this forum.

Anyway, level 31 Tom! I'm stuck on 11!

EDIT: Now stuck on 13 -- I see what you mean!

This gridlock game is distasteful? LOL

I see you can move certain objects only one way - not both. That's tricky.

I found a great game, which looks better - nicer colours, choice of music, etc. It's the same principle but called "Chinese Puzzle". This one is for downloading though and you can play it as an unregistered game just as well as if you register it. One of the limits is that you can't do more than 75 (or 70) moves for each game. The game actually looks much better on the PC than this image shows.

The game itself isn't distasteful but the original link to it was, as the site it was hosted on was full of porn links.

I thought as much and was just kidding.
I hate it when those porn sites and pop ups appear even if you are just searching for something innocent. I have a filter that stops pop-ups so I don't get those anymore but for the rest... it seems that you can't go anywhere anymore without getting one of those thrown in your face.

In my opinion, these images should only be seen where people are looking for these specific places. All very well getting your setting up to the highest settings but then you often miss out on other, more innocent things as well.

stileproject is a fairly infamous site, or was, for links to anything you probably wouldn't want children under the age of...80 or so...to look at...aswell as normal stuff. I assume from the comments its porn linkage has increased considerably then!

that block game is cool though...onyl checked out the first 5 - 6 levels though

I'm stuck in the office. can only find three elements :-/
I guess the one I'm missing is the one that's connected with the clue "Light is in the books". Can someone tell me how to get it?

heh, thought I did that already.
That's what's so hard with these games. You have to do exactly right or you won't make it.

Well, now on to The House :-)
