..a new spells maker system for any DM clone ?!

What would u change in old DM spells maker system ?


For example i thinkig about this:

-> Each spell is on single scroll.
-> U can read spell and remember it from scroll.
-> Only remembered spells can be cast .
->The numbers of spells depends on character level ( for example: wisdom )
-> Spell can reach next level only by effective casting it ...( killing monsters by this spell)

Have anyone any other ideas ?[/img]

Have you checked out Return To Chaos (RTC)? It can do the first 3 things already and plays just like DM / CSB.

not exactly : RTC has a restrict runes mode, but not a restrict spells mode.

But can't you restrict spells by restricting the runes descovered?

absolutely, but imagine you have discovered a FUL BRO KU runes scroll : the dungeon designer allows you to make a strength potion but no magic torch, until you have found the FUL scroll...

what do you need to know?

its exactly as DM, except you can set a 'restrict runes' in the dungeon file, and if you do that then the spell icons are greys out unless the party possess a spellbook. you need to take spell scrolls with the runes on them, and click the scroll onto a spellbook that transfers them, and thus highlight the rune.
so you could restrict power or certain spells by not placing the rune anywhere viable.

well ...exactly I must write a new spell system for DM clone.
But it should be more simple then original DM system.
