Flash chat kickout?

Ok, I think I'm having a bit of troubles with my computer...has anybody been kicked out of Flash Chat, then it opened up again? Okay, here's my details for this problem:
Windows open:
-Microsoft Works
-MSN Hotmail
-FlashChat v3.9.6.1
-Chaos Strikes Back (Folder, but I don't think this has anything to do with it)
-Dungeon-Master.com
-MSN Messanger
I think it might be MSN Messenger causing the problem.

Procedure:
1. I forget if it did this all the times it kicked me out, Sign on to MSN Messenger
2. Flash Chat flashes at the bottom like MSN Messenger does when someone said something while the window is minimized.
3. I check what it wants, and it's loading.
4. I check hotmail and it said i got kicked out or something, one of the buttons says "Retry"
5. I retry and it doesn't always work.
6. So I re-sign in.
7. Close MSN Messenger.

Everything seems to work fine then. Well, today, I wasn't paying attention other times it happened.

Seeya!

YOU'D BETTER HELP OR I'LL POUND YOUR FACE OUT, NOT CARING ABOUT HOW NICE I'VE BEEN TO YOU BEFORE!!!! Jus't joking, that's what I'm like.

It just hit me again, and MSN Messenger wasn't open, so all those windows except msnm Only this time, hotmail didn't leave me in the dust.

Well, I don't know what the problem is, I don't use the chat myself.

It's a heavyweight program and takes a lot of memory. If you have an older computer, it might not be powerful enough to run the chat and lots of other programs too.

And the word is "avatar" not "avatator".

Everyone tends to get kicked out of flashchat at some point- i've had spontaneous crashes, and also just slowdown to where I have to come out.
Zyx had this spontaneuous kick out once too for a while. It is annoying but no clue why....

I use the chat rather frequently, and though I experience a crash sometimes, it seems to happen to PaulH and Zyx a lot more often than to me... Strange.

In my case it's probably due to a big lag in my internet connection. When I'm running some firefox scripts, I often get disconnected from the chat.
Paul has some modem problems too.
So I don't know if the flash application should be directly incriminated.

The sure things is that it eats memory more and more, until everything is slowed down.

Where are you talking about avatar? And that's probably why...I'm using it on 98...I don't think I've had any problems on the XP computer. This means don't try to chat to me in my 6:30 AM (2:00 PM for most of you I think) because I don't use XP in the morning, I use 98. Thanks for the help.

ADDF, if you look closely and carefully, you'll notice somebody wrote avatator in your signature.

so if you delete your signature...

ADDF, you keep using the word "avatator" but it is in fact "avatar". I'm not sure if you deliberately made it up, or just didn't know the real word. So I was pointing that out.

Gambit, you just said avatator. Is is avatator or avatar? I looked in a profile of someone and it said avatar. You also said yourself it is avatar! That word was made up in my head, A.K.A. I didn't know the word, and I'm still confused. QUIT SCREWING AROUND WITH THE WORD!

Lol. Ignore them, they're taking the smeg...yes it is AvaTAR :). An Avatator sounds like some kind of robot or cyborg...like the Terminator. Or for some reason it reminds me of the word "potatoes". /shrug
Look see how weird my brain is

Funny you should say that, I looked for the word 'avatator' for fun, and that word got suggested for an avatar creator progamme. The name was rejected for exactly that reason - sounded like " 'Ave a 'Tater" (said in English dialect way for have a potato)

Ahh I never thought of it like that..."'Ave a tater"...hehehe :).

hmmm.. maybe that girl named "Ava" was wrong since the beginning.

"Ava, t'as tort"

... sorry couldn't resist
