can it be possible to have an option in (my) profile to force other members signatures not to be displayed.
i don't want to read anymore threads where signatures are longer than replies !

I know some of the forum softwares allow this, but it's not part of the standard phpBB install. I'm sure it's easy to add something like that though, I'll investigate.

Not really -- it's completely different software! We use phpBB, the one you linked to uses vBulletin.
We'll just have to wait until phpBB adds it in the core build of version 3 -- I don't really want to spend any more time adding mods to this forum.

It is different software, but it does have that feature. And hide avatar.
You understand that right? It's not making that much sense that it makes sense.
