Materializer Bug ?

Hello
Ive got a question :
I´m playing RTC right now and fighting against the Materializer on Level 11.
The problem: At some point the Materializer stop to cast spells. They following me, but I can´t destroy them cause they don´t materialize anymore.
I´m not sure about this problem but I never had it on the original DM or CSB. Do the monsters have a limited mana source ?
I hope you can help me because they pin me against the wall ^^

If you have vorpal blades you can take them out using these regardless of their state, but otherwise hmm, sounds bug-like! Try sleeping and see if they come out of it and start blasting again...

Unfortunatly i didn´t get the vorpal blades cause i like to practise my magic skills. But guess i know the trigger for the bug. It only happens when i hit them with a weaken nonmaterials when they´re are not materialized. Maybe it was made on purpose to weaken the materializer in general.... but without a vorpal blade it´s almost unpossible to continue without save and load

Can't you go back to level 11 or 10 or wherever it is and get a Vorpal Blade or two?

It wasn´t a big problem at all. I made through the level after a few tries.
I only mentioned it, because didn´t know if its a bug or part of the game.
If it is a bug and youve got the vorpal blade then its a very helpful one. ^^

It's probably related to this (now fixed) bug:

You can only attack materialisers when they are facing you ready for an attack. If they're no longer attacking you having sustained a large amount of damage (because of that bug) then you won't be able to hit them and nor will they ever get out of your way so will block you in.
