I ate dinner with a very dear friend and some of his colleagues Friday night. Afterward, we went back to his place and floated shots of Jim Bean, followed by a hysterical night of karaoke and insane drunkeness at the Tap 'n Dine in Nappanee, IN. It was the best night of my entire life. I sang "Show Me How To Live," "Fell On Black Days," and of course "Low Rider" (I am the only person I know with a voice low enough to do it, and they egged me on.) One of my friends got so wasted, he couldn't sign his tab, and I had to put him back in his chair once. We're gonna do it again next week.
