This file can't be saved successfully -- some weird addition of HTML by Tripod gets added to the bottom of the file; can you put it in a zip file please?

Hmm, I downloaded it fine - what were you using?

Both firefox and IE.

Anyway, it's better to post a file type that browsers understand, so putting in a zip is *always* recommended, regardless of whether the compression is necessary.

OK, well I got it using Down-them-all plugin for Firefox.

Mon Ful Ir, what version of the game should we use? I have tried it with v0.34 and it doesn't show up in the list of available dungeons.

That wouldn't matter as dungeons are now backwardsly compatable I believe.

Yeah, I'm having problems too - although I saved the file ok I thought, tripod had appended the file as gambit said with html text. Removed it, but still can't see the file. You will probably need to do the zip thing to make sure it doens't get corrupted

My apologies; the file is now zipped.

It's written in v0.34. I've played it on three machines and it works fine on all of them. :?

I don't believe your webspace is allowing remote hosting, at least of this file (the .zip file just doens't work)

If you follow the link to the forums of the DM Encyclopaedia in the pull down menus above, you can upload it there - that's what most people do with their dungeons

OK, I got the zip file OK and it plays fine. Looking like a cute little adventure so far. :)

You need to right-click and select 'Save Target As' rather than just clicking on it.

After many sessions of head-scratching I've come to the conclusion that I'm stuck

I can't find any kind of switch to 'turn off the vents', and I've thoroughly gone over every available bit of the dungeon up to that point...

I'm a little rusty at solving DM-style puzzles I admit

Right-Click Save As = Zip file corrupted.

Left-Click = This file is hosted by Tripod, a Lycos®Network Site, and is not available for download. Please check out Tripod's Help system for more information about Remote Loading and our Remote Loading policy.

I am in the process of migrating forum posts about custom dungeons and their reviews from the old encyclopaedia forums to the new site.
Have a look here for the dungeons already migrated:
http://dmweb.free.fr/?q=view/CustomDungeons
Here for the reviews:
http://dmweb.free.fr/?q=view/CustomDungeonsReviews

As a result of the migration, all links to posts in the old forum will be broken... sorry about that.

Liking it so far, not sure how much is left to do since it's a mini-dungeon but I'm playing solo with the character supplied (obviously) and I'm up to the many blue hazes.

Good job Mon Ful Ir, it's nice to play something different in RTC :).

Finished.

I don't think I missed much judging by the monster kill count after completion, although I didn't do the 'Make My Obeisance' puzzle (did the river one). Had tons of stuff left over, probably being because I did it solo.

Towards the end there's a gold key that opens a door but it doesn't get taken from you, whether that was intentional or not I'm not sure.

Overall it was very refreshing to play something along the lines of DM without it being DM itself, so thank you very much and I encourage you to create a new dungeon if you got the taste for it while creating this one :).

I liked this one too.

It was just the right length for me-- sometimes it seems like huge dungeons can drag a bit.

It seems like the author has vanished, though.

I'm stuck on the maze of hazes :(

I am enjoying it immensely though. It has that particular feature that I liked about parts of DM and most of Chaos - where things circle back on themselves, join up and open new areas. The entire dungeon has a satisfying coherence.

I know what you mean, it's pretty well thought out.

I spent some time at the haze part also, make use of anything you have spare or ZoKathRa's even.

Yeah, I've tried making a trail of ZoKathRas, but rather than just turning you around the hazes teleport you about, so it's become a bit of a head-scratcher. I'll plod on with it, though I'm running very low on food now and the only resource is that worms room - and we all know how nourishing worm rounds are :?
