Giving a starting party items?

I dont know if this is possible or how it would work out but...

1)Would it be possible to give characters you create for a dungeon Items to start with IF they are not in a mirror (e.g a sword, a leather vest etc)

2)If the answer to the above is yes would these items be transfered to the relevant character number if characters are imported from a save game? (eg: (CHARACHTER_X)

I know its not a typical DM thing but i was wondering because at the moment ive got a dunegon set up where the characters first have to go to a store in the entrance level to get their items..

[Sorry if this has been asked before or is implemented in v0.35. If its to much hasstle to code then please dont go out of your way to bother]

1) it's already possible with AUTO-EQUIP
2) i bet that the positions of the items in the starting tile do it already, but i didn't test it

No, auto-equip means any starting party or imported party standing in the dungeon picks up items on the initial square

Mirror people always start possessing the items in the wall with them
