Hi people it seems bloodwych is more popular than i thought after look around the amiga forums etc... so I've decided to try and update my bloodwych website, make it abit prettyer and more userfriend and of course and more contence.

Just want any ideas from people on how i should do the site, should i use a contence management system, anyone know of any nice templates which are free that would look good for the site.

Any ideas welcome. Cheers.

Sorry, nothing to add as i never liked Bloodwych. It's graphics were too small and indistinct after playing DM and EOB.

I agree, but it didn't capture my imagination the way DM had. If it doesn't grab me fairly quickly there's a good chance I'm not gonna get into it and that's pretty much what happened!

Aww you missed out big time ask your friends at work (Mr Holmes) he will enlighten you.

I think the gfx put alot of people off which is a grate shame as i think bloodwych is 100x better than DM but i know people dont agree.

Its never too late to give it ago, but any case doesnt matter if you like bloodwych or not you got any tips on a good way to handle all the menus i will need i.e. frames, javascript, flash (yuk!) :)

I agree with gambit... graphics in Bloodwych is terrible.
The most important things in rpg is graphics and playability.
However multiplayer option much increase playability.

Tell you what though, a modern Bloodwych remake with much larger more detailed graphics would go a long way to getting me interested... ;)

I actually enjoyed Bloodwych a great deal, but I have to say the 99% of that probably came down to the fact that I played it through with a friend - which is I think the way it must be played. As a single-player dungeon experience I found it quite lacking. The time I spent playing it in co-op does cut it a lot of slack in my book though, so it retains a fond place in my memory :)

Wasn't there a Bloodwych 3D in the works, or some kind of remake? I never played it co-op, and didn't get into it on my own, but a remake would definitely make it more accessible to Windows users. I'd give it another go.

playing it single player leaves you with half the screen..
so better play with a friend ;)

I remember playing it on the amiga with a pal and
we cheated some gold coins with a freezer device
(otherwise we were not able to buy much..I really wonder
if there was a legal way of getting enough gold in this game)

TOm: maybe you mean Dungeon Maker?

The split screen put me of this game.
I think if you want to play co-op you need to connect 2 computers together so each get their own screen.

Ah, there's another for my "played and beaten" list...

Yeah, the graphics weren't so great after DM, or EOB, but it was still fun to play - and map. I particularly enjoyed the insults: "Thou smells warty", and so on.

I think you need to of played Bloodwych before DM etc.
Back then I had nothing to compare it to, so enjoyed it fondly!

This game have some interesting features, but i dont play it enough long to like. Graphic and sound is not important in games, after some time playing you open imagination and from this moment understand and like some gameword. Im my opinion games which require to open imagination are more addictive, thats why some peoples have feeling that old games was better from modern (which are too realistic)
