Hi folks,

Long time no see!! Finally found my pocket pc after moving house and thought i'd give Conflux 2 a go, which by the way is great... But we have a problem Houston?!?!

It all works fine on the ppc, but part of the text bar is obscured by the movement arrows on the ppc version of CSBwin...

So i was wondering 2 things, firstly can somebody tell me what the door in The Cellar is protected by and what Iaido says about the Ring he's never seen before? - I'm not looking for spoilers ;-)

Secondly, does anyone know if there is a version of CSBwin for windows that is compatible with the ppc version, so that i can load my save games on the pc and read messages for myself when I get further into the game...

Cheers!

Have you tried any of the recent versions of CSBwin for
the PC? If not, go get CSBwin-CSBuild.zip from
dianneandpaul.net and use the CSBwin that you will
find inside. If it does not work, report back and we will
fix it.

By the way, once ConfluxIII is released and
endures a bit of advanced 'playtesting', I will
update the PPC CSBwin to play it. And the text
lines can be shortened so as not to be hidden.
We will also release a new Linux version about
that time. And release the latest source code.

Ah, downloaded the csbwin-csbuild file and it loads the ppc saved games fine!! I did get a couple of graphics errors whilst loading the programme and saved game, but it all appeared to be ok!!

Something i'll mention quickly - my pocket pc is an HP 1910 (200MHz processor), when playing Conflux II on it, it runs slower than the regular DM or CSB. Is this just because of the graphics file?

Could be because of heavy DSA use?
