Go on, tell us about it. Is there a story associated with it? Anything cool you like about it? Does it need playtesting? Increase the aniticpation...

SELL IT TO US!

Don´t forget to add it to the List of Dungeons.

It does not come equipped with a config.txt.
I think you should include the standard one
to make the keyboard a bit more useful.

I played a couple of levels. Took me a few tries
to get everything right. So far it seems like fun.

I notice that in a couple of places you put two
Actuators in an Alcove that require a special
object. One when the object is placed and one when
the object is removed. Both toggle the same
target. Did you know that you can do this with a
single actuator with 'Set' action when removed and
'Clear' action when placed? Or did you try that and
it did not work? Or am I missing something?
Example at 02(14,14).

Groovee hall of champions page 8) I don't think you should display the luck statistic though as it's supposed to be secret - unless showing us that there are a just a few spoggy so-and-sos is a deliberate ploy?

1. About strory:

Its very old well somewhere on hills near city Darkmoond. Citizens mostly go here to get fresh water and throw coins for luck. Nobody known its origins even king Donovan. He send here few expeditions and nobody retun. In every tavern you can hear legends about treasures inside. Some day you decided take team and explore this place.

I designed it for multi-dungeon, many adventures in one realm. So Dagoth Crypt is only one from them and probably i will build new ones. They will be not connected by any story, so you dont need finish one to start another. But you can do it, when finished one- teleport will send you near entrance.

Dagoth Crypt
-Levels 10
-Enemies: easy, 1 boss
-Riddles: medium
-Treasures: medium, 1 artefact

2. Technicals

I placed many pressure pads in one place because i cant find better way, need some experience. Already i learn lot when build this one but it still many things i dont known how do.

3. About site

Hall of Champions view every stats so you may easy configure perfect team. Already its useless because to finish Dagoth Crypt you only need one good warrior. Try finish it using one or two characters. Typical hero got attributes like jester but some increased, some decreased. Its 4000 exp, 50% for all stats, 40 for primary values.

4. Other

When build this dungeon mostly i spend time on learn how do many stuff and make some new graphics. Now i should make new labirynths twice faster and better. This first dungeon its just experience ground, but should give lot of fun.

solidna robota Zed, ja też pracuję nad gierką w stylu CSB na CSBwin - już półtora roku !!! jeszcze trochę pracy + playtesting i powinna być gotowa (12 - raczej przeładowanych - poziomów). No w każdym razie w przyszłym miesiącu mam nadzieję ją rzucić.
Jak masz jakieś pytania, wal śmiało, zęby zjadłem na tym edytorze.
Co do Twojego dungeona to ładnie się zapowiada, nowa grafika itp..
Pozdro!

Tell me if someone finish this mod.

I think prior problem is start with experienced and equiped champions. Good stuff in RPGs is start from zero and become hero. Now i work on new labirynth filled with deadly traps and monster boss. High dificulty and possible to develop characters into master levels.

Not always. Sometimes all that leveling up is just boring.

Look at CSB, it works pretty well the other way.

(And, if I may insert a plug, SS)

I agree - it's good to have a variety of start levels in different custom dungeons. As for Dagoth - I'll be giving it a proper go in a couple of weeks when I get back from hols.

I loved this dungeon! Most custom dungeons I play, I play for a little while and then quit. This is one of the few that I didn't do that with. The dungeon pulled me in. I couldn't wait for another chance to play it. The puzzles were great and I loved the challenge of hunger, even though I usually don't like my champions being hungry. I finished it in a few days. I only checked the editor when I was completely stumped on what to do next, and then I realized that I had finished the game.
I didn't like how the only places that it tells you that you have finished the game are in the readme and somewhere on the forum, I saw you say that you get teleported to the entrance when you're done. It would have been nice to tell the user that the game is finished...even if it's just a text if you want the user to continue playing after the end game message. Other than that and the config.txt problem, it's an awesome dungeon!

Zed5Duke:

It appears that people have played this without
any bugs/problems. Are you happy with it as
it is? Do you want to add a more final ending?
May I package it and put it in my

http://www.dianneandpaul.net/CSBwin/Games/

collection? And a version for the PocketPC, too?
Any special text you would like included? Especially
any credits or email address?

I am completely stumped. There is a pad I don't know what to do with (down the 'safe' corridor), a door that won't open, behind which is a set of stairs going down. I got to the dragon but I can't beat him, and I don't have a jeweled key or any dragon eyes. I can't find any meaning in the so called "four scrolls of wisdom." (actually six of them) After a half hour of dying repeatedly of hunger I just jumped into the "empty room of wisdom" and went mad.

Its dungeon of many riddles and traps

Kill skeleton for good sword (left from 3 rooms put ashes to alcove), or find mace in one from riddles*, or take weapon from floor where is dragon. Then just hit jump and turn, dragon will come to your position and again the same tactic. I killed dragon using one knight and some about 5-10 minutes. Dragon eyes are orange gems, also key and meat: come from dead dragon.

*
"dont take everything you SEE"
take content and leave empty bag

put stone in suirush scrolls alcove
("sometime stone is valuable")

"broke old bones to get new ones"
dont worry when you mage die
take bones upstairs; keys to vi altar

now you may use dangerous gem
press small button in trap room
take big stone and use it in alcove
of "small" brother (stone)

and use safe gem on this level
to get better weapon and supply
