Got all the armour / weapons from the dragon and the icy ball and all 3 gems from the room opposite and the weapons from the first room but none seem to work on the mummy or mirrors...

...so the question is, what do those shooter holes shoot, and you do you get them to do so...

Edit 1: I feel somewhat disturbed that I'm stuck after about 10 minutes play - doesn't bode well for the rest of the dungeon!

Edit 2: And before anyone asks, I can't reverse engineer the RTC source file so I'm as much in the dark (pun intended) and at Sophias mercy as everyone else

it seems i'm a bit farther than you, i killed the water elemental and the mummy
but i can't do anything with those mirrors... and that stupid banshee !

Hmm, on the topic of the mirrors, I will say...

7 years of bad luck pales in comparison to what you will experience if you fail in your quest.

Ah, I figured out the Mirrors, but that's where my luck ran out. I can't figure out how to get past that door with the heatwave!

And also, it was just luck that I was able to nab the Mace from the Dragon and escape before it killed me, I didn't get anythign else lying on the floor.

I played shadowgate many years ago and am thoroughly enjoying this dungeon based on it. I've got a long way through it so far (I think). But I can't figure out the 'desire-rised' riddle and appear unable to kill the Coatl. Any suggestions?

Hmm - I'm lots further on now but stuck again (I'll try to be as vague as possible to avoid spoiling too much!).

I'm at the flame area (with the flames dead) but can't get through the door in that room.

I've got the ra key but it doesn't fit in the hole. Havn't killed the Couatl - do I need to do so to get the right key (and if so how would I go about doing so)?

There's a secret passage that you've missed...

Bit more detail (but still not spoiling): Go through the fake wall and solve a few more puzzles then come back to the heatwave door when you've found something that will "obviously" help you.

Is it possible to kill the dragon? I've got all the items but haven't been able to kill it, nor can I kill the Couatl...

Ah! I had found the secret passage but I couldn't do anything there before and then forgot about it

Ah yes, those Wraiths are tricky. Not just ANY type of undead, but a magical one.

Maybe there's something you're already carrying, but you didn't notice? (That is, if you picked it up near the start of the game...)

I tried throwing all the objects I was carrying at the wraith and it stayed alive
and trapped all my objects at its feet.

I will have to start looking at everything a bit more carefully.

I've got the Power Towers but I've not been able to find any Ra Key.

Yep - I've got them too; very handy they are as well (I was wandering about in the red before hand).

Doesn't help in terms of any puzzles though (as far as I have been able see anyway!)

I never figured out how to kill the Coatyl or the Dragon though, so now I'm stuck.

Every pit I fall down kills me and I've only found that one secret passage. Is there something I'm missing?

Ah, yes! I got it now.

I got the Ra Key, I've destroyed the fires in the room with the keyhole, now I've no idea what do do next...

Oh, perhaps a small hint:

The key you need to advance through the fire room is not too far away, but you have to think in three dimensions to get there. It's not the Ra Key, but if you've got the Ra Key, at least you're starting to get the 3d thinking down.

Yay - lots more puzzles now solved. Currently stuck on:

1) At the VI altar - but bones, apples, branches, rust (all fomerly part of or derived from something else) don't seem to work...

2) A room with runes which dont' really make much sense and a flying eye that I can't kill.

3) In the room with the 3 doors and 3 keyholes, I havn't got the key for the right hand one (looks like a square keyhole).

Also have got several different coloured potions, druid staff and ekhard cross, but it's not obvious what needs doing to them.

BTW I've used the sceptre, but nothings happened - presumably the place where it's used needs something else too...

Gah you edited yours while I was writing mine!

Anyway...

1) Think about why the bones don't work.

2) There is a poem about the eye on one of the scrolls. Perhaps it will help? As for the runes, things have a way of making sense later on...

3) Square keys are the same color as the floor. Keep your eyes open.

OK - way further on now

...but completely stuck again.

Got the talisman, bladed staff and platinum horn. Next up seems to be a stone demon that I can't seem to interact with (but is sufficiently prominent not to be just decoration!) - also on the level below is a bank of eyes - but the magnifying glass doesn't seem to do anything; presumably I need something else to progress here.

Not at all obvious what to do next...

I can't figure out how to get the chest behind that tree, nor the little green thing in the alcove by the bones. I keep instantly dying!

But that rat is dead now! Yay!

Also, one of the spells wont cast. I select the runes, click on them to cast the spell but I get no response. The runes just sit there in the menu bar.

i'm stuck with the riddle "desire-rised"

i notice it's a palindrome, but i don't figure how to use it.

i'm also blocked with one pit (on the right when you go on secret passage near the book) and with the door on the hall of flames.

someone succeed taking the book ?

where is the ra key ?

i'm stucked since 2 days, please help
