You need to copy the URLs and directly paste them into your browser.
I loved the Doom graphics. Amazing to think they actually made real models, painted them, photgraphed them in all the positions and scanned them in then touched them up.

Yeah thanks for link, Adamo. Here is the
index.
I can now hack the sheet into the format for a DMJava monster, but cant find any DOOM sound effects, which would be cool. I found the various
music files (midi), though

If you have a DOOM.WAD there are tons of utils that can extract the sounds.

Yeah I thought about that... But I'm lazy

When I have the time I'll let you know which one I used, assuming people are interested.
I only really wanted to see what a DOOM monster looks like in DM.

Well, I've tried it and most of them look rubbish as they are too small -- increasing the resolution either makes them (a) blurry if you use interpolation or (b) too blocky. Trust me!

I've just added the "demon", from the link above into DMJava.
The result hasn't turned out to bad, and with a little work, can be made to look even better.
PM me your email and I'll send an ingame screenshot.
Edit:- That Alien Queen from Duke Nukem has potential as well.
Thanks for posting this link, it looks interesting.

yep, i had a better look at them too.. but they can be very useful as basic bitmap for attitudes.
but i couldn't resist, i just cloned munchers to non-attacking monsters and used some "afrits" bitmaps for replacement. I didn't resize them and only added a shadow. They look like little demons in Oblivion ! now i just have to add the other views !
(ok, i admit that was an easy way to show another preview of FoD

)

Yeah, some of those little ones are cool -- I've experimented a lot with Hexen/Heretic images and *some* of them work OK.
Love the shot above -- getting excited.

Forest of Doom was my favourite FF book, because it was the first one I played. Fond memories indeed!

There's a few more sprite sheets on this page too. Some Heretic ones, but not many...
