ok. let's start with the Loon. We put it on our money.. then call them loonies.. I mean the bird is named a loon because people that it acts crazy.. .. so yeah.. mentaly insane birds.. that really represents us.. we're all crazy right?
let's move on to the beaver.. industrious yes.. such a simple little guy can make some fantastic structures.. why.. because it was there.. apparently they are complete OCD.. they build dams because the sound of running water perturbs them.. now when inside the dam.. the rest up for the night. You see a long day of eating wood is hard on the beavers stomach. They don't digest wood after all.. at least not the FIRST time around.. so while in their little dam.. they are having a little snack.. direct from mr anus. Yes.. the little buggers sit in their huts and eat their own ass out.. great representation of canadians.. we are good engineers but we have OCD and eat shit..
lastly.. we have the moose.. some say majestic.. others say akward. The are more often made fun of for their long lanky legs and big noses than anything.. but it doesn't stop there.. these "majestic" animals will fall on their back and piss all over themselves.. in order to smell irrisistable to the female moose. So there we have it.. an animal into golden showers..
so let's recap.. crazy, OCD, eating crap, akward, and peeing all over ourselves.. how wonderfull..

Well, at least you don't have bulldog as an unoffical animal representation - which is pug ugly and too small to really be seen as anything important!

There's a saying here: "Why do dogs spend so much time licking their crotch? - Because they can!" Don't know if that makes the German Shepherd a better or worse animal represantation...
