Dungeon Master Forum

I noticed that when I was using Flashchat, the "show new posts since last visit" button stopped working. I traced it to the login screen inside Flaschat. If you get network burb and the connection times out and you use that to relogin the new posts is erased as if you've logged on to the forum itself. I presume this is because the flashchat uses same mechanism to validate the login as the main forum and that does the post clearing.

Can this be changed so that only actually visiting the forum would erase the posts?

I usually don't have problems if I just run Flashchat in a separate Tab
