Being a bit of an IT geek myself this does all sound quite appealing. Not sure about the name though - "Dungeon Strikes Back" just doesn't seem right somehow. Perhaps as it is one of the few such games with a female author it could be called "Dungeon Mistress" - despite the S&M connotations

Lol, I wasn't sure at first either, but the name has really grown on me and appeals to me now!
Especially where it comes from with the cool title screen

yeah, definitely. The title screen rocks and if you think about it,
Dungeon Strikes Back is the essence of what the custom dungeons
are all about. The Dungeon (always the grey stone walls) strikes back
at you / us all.
well, there is a saying here:
Anyhow it is done, it is done the wrong way.
It won't never fit totally.
And I heard that you had to give another eighty percent for the missing 20% of 100% of effort into sth.
that means : 80% is ok. for 100%, the missing 20% of 100% you need the same amount of work as for the first 80%..
Don't know why I posted that...but looks cool so I keep it

Actually, that same amount of effort will normally only give you 80% of the missing 20%, i.e. 16%, putting you at 96%. If you triple the effort you'll get 80% of the missing 4%, for a total of 99.2%. And so on and on, until you finally give up and leave good enough alone.
As for 'Dungeon Mistress', I don't think I'll ever be able to look at the wall manacles the same way again... *shudders*

"After you finish the first 90 percent of a project, you have to finish the other 90 percent."
That's my favorite version.

It's all holding true, so far, too.
