Is there a way to stop the worm generator at level 00?

I can stand at the generator to temporally stop it, but as soon as I leave the place, the worms appear again, and again, and again... In few minutes, the level is full of them.

The worms stepping out of the generator square will create more worms... so you need to battle it out right at that square until all the worms are gone and no more come out...

You need not face these worms at all.

If you go through the door at 0(30,20)
you can get out of that room so quickly
that no worm has time to attack you.

Off Topic a bit: CBS level 0 is very
interesting. There is a lot of randomness
(and seeming randomness) going on.
Strange things can happen to you.

I think all the generators have logical limits - most of the basement flood generators at least have a limit

I wanted the "Dragon Fang", so I had to go through this room. I have just one Corbum, but I will explore this level for the fun, and the "Strange Things" that can happen

There is an unusually shaped mighty weapon against the demon spawn on this level, but you'll have to pay to unlock its secret.

Just have a

boulder in your inventory

. It will open a door you come across on the way to the worm generator, but there will be no worms inside the room. You can take the dragon fang without any fighting
