Arthur C Clarke passed away yesterday.

As a child and teenager I read a fair few of his books and loved them. In later life I found out more about the man who had ideas about satellitle communication and moon landings way before anyone else. A genius man of science who will be very missed.

Anthony Minghella passed away too:

Can't quite believe this one. He was only 54 and a director I really respected.

I saw Anthony come up on bbc news24 while I was sitting in a pub, but not Arthur! :(

As you say, a genius author with vision in science
