Too Strong for this Dungeon

What triggers the too strong message when you create a new party and can it be adjusted for custom dungeons? How does the program determine the party’s total effectiveness? Can it be turned off?

The message is determined by some odd formula to do with champion mirrors and the starting characters available

If you wish any party to be acceptable, or to reduce the harshness of the scaling, put some inaccessable champion mirrors somewhere with archmaster characters

I'm not sure if there is anything easier and more scientific available yet other than playing around with innaccessable champion mirrors to get the scalings you wish

That was the first thing I thought of. Now I just need work to be over with so I can test it out.
