Well I am a bit bored, so am going to do a dungeon clearout with two characters. If anyone is interested I will record it - be quite interesting to see how other people play too. Pewrhaps I can learn something from you?

Probably not given your skills! If I ever have some free time and inclination, might record a brief game!

Cool! We all talk about our experiences and methods - but be good to see it!

Heh, I don't think any of my tactics are particularly spectacular, or really very efficient or whatever. It's been a while since I played any dungeons. Judging by the super-rocket-speed some other people seem to play these dungeons, I think I'm really quite slow

.

Well I wouldn't play at hyper speed lol, as I would be fighting and clearing out sections. If I can remember how to do them!

I'm very interested in your video, PaulH!
I always play very slowly, I always try to kill all the creatures and get all the stuff in the dungeon (although I don't need it), so I think nobody would be interested in watching my DM video for 4 hours...

Heh, only four hours? I really can't remember how long it takes me to play it, although the time of my first run-through is on the RTC site, as is my dad's. That is, if that high-score table thingy is still there. I've not looked for years. Anyway, that will have been with a team of four and going into various bits that I tend to skip now. I think the time on that run may heva been seven or eight hours. No clue what I do now.

OK, maybe it is 14 and not 4 hours. Too long for the others to watch either way...
I hope I'll learn some new tricks from PaulH's video!

Did you record a CSBWin playback or something else? Good old DM dungeon?
I didn't fuse for ages, so I'd hop in for the fun of it. Got vacation next week anyways.

The original DM dungeon in CSBWin, using Stamm and Gando. Completed much more of it than I usually would ie the knights and spiders, level 5 etc.

This video is quite interesting, but also surprisingly long. I watched it to level 5 and then switched to quickplay (and so saved my evening), and slowed it down only for the most interesting parts. Here:
- I was surprised you did the "put the gem back" puzzle properly - I know the right solution, of course, but I always did it by falling down the pit - I think I've never done it properly, or maybe just once or twice
- I thought you were going to leave the dragon alive - he caught you by surprise in that small room, didn't he? But then you returned and...
- the "spider dance" was fantastic. I confess that I usually avoid the most dangerous "Cowards will be hunted down and killed" area (perhaps I'm a coward) - in my life, I've ventured only once or twice there (actually, since I've learned how to avoid the spider area from you, I don't go there anymore)
OK, I'll return to your video tomorrow and later and watch the other parts in detail - I think I'll need two or more evenings for that. Thank you once again - it's really interesting to watch others playing DM, using the same tricks, or doing the same things in different ways (e.g. I never leave the worms behind me on the worm level; or I never kill the guys around Chaos - I just come to the level and concentrate on fusing him, ignoring the rest of the party).
PS For the others: You have to turn the DM rules ON in CSBwin for a smooth playback.

Was about 2 and a half hours according to the internal clock, but slept a lot more than usual, and completed some areas as intended (ie the gem). Usually I just dodge everything, but wated to show my knight slaying method lol. And how quickly you can kill the dragon when tooled up!
Also went back and did an extra cross key and key of B area - you can make the game suprisingly long when you do all the bits!

Didn't do the extra (wish they would have had enough keys for ALL of those doors) turquoise key?

There is only one tourquoise key!
