Transfering DM characters to CSB

Before I start DM on CSBwin?(this is what they call the program that runs DM on windows as I understand and not Choas Strikes Back nessisarily). anyways, I would like to make sure that these characters will transfere over to Choas Strikes Back on CSBwin before I get too far into the game. I dont see a save file in the folder and am at a loss on how it might work...

They will. You don't have a saved file yet, because you haven't saved a game yet. When you save a game, then a csbsave.dat file will be created (with the appropriate number appended to the name) in the root folder. When you finally want to play CSB, ensure the new graphics.dat is swapped out, and that the mini-.dat file is added to the root folder. Then just use the make new adventure to create a CSB game from your dm dm save.
