I just saw this over lunch. Since I know that there are (at least) two other fans on the forums I thought I would share!

Lets hope that it is well done, and does not end up destroying the legacy of a great series.

Indeed. Fingers crossed!

I hope I'll have some chance to watch it when it's released because it might take some time for Czech TV(s) to broadcast it.

I did mean to go see the stage version! I forget why it didn't work out :(

Hmm, mixed feelings...the fact its the original guys is cool. It's amazing how relevant the old one is these days, so ...hmmm...derfinitely tentative fingers crossed!

I recently got free tickets to one of the recordings for this, but alas I was unable to go. Wonder if it will be any good?

Still fingers crossed! I have terrible connection to anything being on TV, so when it shows up, for goodness sake someone tell me before it leaves BBC iPlayer! :D

Indeed! Well, the EU-related jokes should work better then before. As well as the UK being just a missile base for the US.

New series starting at 9pm tomorrow on Gold. I saw some trailers - I don't know how well the new actors will fit in - Sir Humphrey doesn't look quite as smug - but I will try to not compare them to the old ones.

Actually I will miss it - my television is being taken away tomorrow (because I am moving, not being repossessed or anything!).

Gold :( Don't have it! Like the new Red Dwarf, I guess I'll wait for the DVD!

Good luck with the move!

I remember watching the reruns of it some years ago, it was quite funny. I hope one of the channels available where I live picks it up. Unfortunately it's not often that I get anything from any part of Europe. The TV coverage tends to be mostly American shows, which mostly seem to be copies of the same worn out reality show ideas right now, with a few token Canadian shows thrown in on my local channels to meet the Canadian Content regulations. The end result is that my TV watching is more and more becoming reserved for my favorite sports and the occasional good show that someone actually decides to air.

Yes, it seems most TV everywhere is pretty bad. The occasional good thing comes out though, you just have to filter out the rest.

Thanks!

And actually it seems Yes Prime Minster started last Tuesday. I just stumbled across the last 5 minutes of the repeat a few minutes ago. It was hard to judge, but seemed ok!
