Suggestion for DSB topics

Would it at all be possible to split the DSB topic into subtopics (like how RTC has the general/bugs/suggestions/editing/utilities)? I feel that DSB has become big enough to warrant this... and it's becoming increasingly harder to find things because you have to go dredging through 8 pages of threads. This, in my opinion, would greatly help DSB developers (like myself) to find the things (like Lua code examples) they're after.

i second this, even if i haven't played a lot with lua code, looking for something precise isn't easy

Sophia herself has said she doens't want it, becuase many of the threads are combinations. She has been offered.

As Beo noted, it's up to Sophia as it's her forum

Can you convince her?

@Sophia: Can you
PLEASE split it into subtopics? Please... please... pretty please?!?! Did I forget the cherry on top?
On a more serious note, it'd be much easier to locate certain areas of interest. It'd also make it far more organized. It'd make it way easier to find out if someone else has posted a particular bug-report or suggestion already. I find that it can get fairly difficult to find the interesting stuff in amongst 8 pages of threads... I can do some pretty brain-bending stuff in RTC, and
this is getting difficult

The problem, to me, is that coding questions often seem to spawn bug reports, bug reports spawn feature requests, and fulfilled feature requests spawn more coding questions. I'm fine with this, of course! But it's all so connected that it seems like trying to separate this into separate areas will lead to a lot of fragmented threads-- or a lot of searching, anyway.
This was kind of a issue on the RTC forums, too, to be honest... but back then I think more people cared about keeping them organized (at least for a certain definition of "organized") than care about keeping the DSB forum organized.

At first, I would add a "Tutorials" subfolder and rest of subjects would stay in main forum. That subfolder could be fueled with extracts from other threads.

@Linflas: That sounds like a great idea! It'd really help the DSB n00bs
I'm mainly trying to think of the other people that are either just learning or haven't even discovered DSB yet. Those people are going to come along and go "Wow! Great engine! Where do I start?" and then they'll spend hours and hours trawling through all the topics looking for stuff that's going to help them learn, and all with the possibility that they'll miss that 1 something that would've sent them on their way. Having them spend all that time learning runs the risk of them going "Bugger this! I'll go play something else" and then we've lost a DSB follower, that could've been the next Picasso.

You could always do as CSBwin does and have a sticky tutorial thread that links to all the relevant posts.

there is always the search option, but its not the best?
I could be wrong, but I do not think that noobs or newbies of DSB will bother with bug reports so much.
Sophia also responds and tackles any arising issues as fast as light (or FTL

)
Arguably, 2 similar and simultaneously posted bug report topics will be merged in no time or soon enough, at least that's what history here makes me believe.
Is there need to know exactly what problems there were with v.23 if you start just now, I wonder.
There is no benefit to use version 0.31 instead of v. 32? if compared to RTC (versions and dungeons seem to correlate)
