List of custom dungeons as of January 5, 2023

Post by ChristopheF »

Overview
  • Custom dungeons are listed alphabetically, along with the target game engine(s) and author(s) in square brackets []
  • Warning: many download links in the discussion threads of each custom dungeon are broken. Instead you can Download custom dungeons from this shared OneDrive. In the 'Custom Dungeons' folder, each has its own subfolder with the same name as in the list below.
  • If you have custom dungeon files marked as [Missing] in the list, please share them to complete the archive.
  • Some custom dungeons are supplied with the necessary game engine, but most of them require that you download the game engine yourself from one of these locations:
    • DM PC (Original game)
    • DMII PC (Original game)
    • DMII Amiga (Original game)
    • CSBwin (Clone, truthful port of the Atari ST version of the original game engine to Windows/Linux/MacOS X/Windows CE/Raspbian). Can run Dungeon Master and Chaos Strikes Back.
    • RTC (Return To Chaos) (Clone). Includes Dungeon Master, Chaos Strikes Back and Dungeon Master II.
    • DM Java (Clone)
    • DSB (Dungeon Strikes Back) (Clone)
  • Important: Some dungeons were made with older versions of clone engines and require that you use the exact same version for the best experience. This is especially true for RTC where in most cases, the required version number is part of the file name, for example: dungeon-48.zip requires RTC version 0.48 to be played.
  • You may also check Paul R. Stevens' list of custom dungeons for CSBwin.
