It's been a while since I've been here. I've begun creating a DM clone about a year ago - an almost lifelong dream (bought the game in 1987).

I know, this is far from playable. It's a start. You can use the primitive editor, the music player and walk around - that's pretty much it.

1600 by 900 pixels windowed resolution and Linux only. My very simple 3d-engine does not work adaptively, sorry. But the code should compile under Windows, since I put everything needed into the app, even the fonts don't use any OS-resources.

My question: Is there anyone interested in working together with me on this?

it's the re-creation of dm in the grimrock game. There are differences because of the way grimrock works, but the guy who made this pushed very far to be as close as possible to the original, and the result is pretty impressive. Grimrock is from 2012, and this mod is from 2013...
I just discovered it lately on my side, I knew about grimrock but not about this mod.
The biggest differences are posted in the posts section, but you even have the hall of champions despite the fact that grimrock doesn't work like that usually, This mod is like a dream, but now gameplay is pretty different compared to the original, the way to choose champions is also quite different (because of the class system, starting equipment becomes much more important than what it is in the original DM).
Is it an appimage ? Why didn't you keep the appimage extension then ?
