RTC keyboard

Convinced, Lunever;) Here is a copy of the message from gameplay.

One of the minor annoyances with RTC for me is the keyboard - since a lot of things are customizable it's a bit annoying that movement can only be made via the arrows, because I have a laptop at home, so I'd rather customize them to (for example) jklm,. (like in CSBwin). Is there any way to do so presently, because it's not funny playing the higher difficulty levels when you can't navigate properly ?

Fighting and spellcasting would be a bonus with the keyboard, but I guess that won't be possible since you can either choose movement or spellcasting in the config file.

the movement or spells option is for the insert to pagedown set of keys. the arrow keys are for the movment always as far as I can remember

That is exactly my problem with a notebook keyboard. I'm having both hands on the right side (working with the mouse, too), which is tiresome after a while - freely configuring the movement/attack/spell keys would be a nice-to-have feature for "comfortable" playing.

well you see, I use a desktop PC and simply shift the keyboard left while keeping my right hand on my mouse.

then it's a quick dash over the keys to cast spells and run. though I find I use the mouse only when picking things up most of the time.. or hiting a switch.

I think more advanced keyboard config options would be beneficial all the same though. Switching characters, chosing attacks and attackers, quick spell casting, and then the regular movement could make for a convenient set up to move and work quickly in the game saving your butt and allowing you to make it through the dungeon faster.

I think you put it better than me. Although shifting the keyboard is one option, I'd still prefer working with the keyboard more than I can presently, besides, it's quicker when you're used to it. Mouse is nice for picking up or casting (I'm still old-fashioned in that respect), but most options I'd like to do via the keys - CSBwin has spoiled me ;)
