No, I want to do it live, in the dungeon. eg: fireball shooter faces north. unsuspecting character steps on floor switch, fireball shooter rotates to face east - blam! This probably can't be done unless I use a series of visible/invisible shooters and use relays to de/activate them. Too much pain so...

Healing injuries
I can't figure out how to heal injuries from drinking, for example, a fountain or eating a special food.

This spiked my interest so I took Boris solo at level 15 and double monsters. Worm level and Boris is at level 2 archmaster priest and level 3 archmaster wizard. Just wondering... do melee weapons ever become useful at level 15? I'm doing only about 1-2 damage with a decent str boost and saber. With...

I prefer a light to medium weight long weapon in dominant hand with a small weapon (or small shield as long as it can be used as stabbing weapon as well; eg: a spiked buckler) off hand. I'm not too sure about two-handed styles in DM though since it doesn't distinguish between two-handed heavy weapon...

Some questions
If these have already been answered, please direct to post or just tell me to look for 'em. Single wall shooters: is there a way to force a single shooter to fire from left or right? Trigger to add/remove specific party members. Is there such a thing and how to do it? Restrict spells (not spell rune...

How did you play DMII Amiga? IF it's through an emulator there could be speed issues compared to the original, and if it was on your Amiga a while ago then you could jjust be remembering slightly off. It's on the emulator. I never played DMII on my original Amiga (it's been toast for over 15 years)...

The movement speed of the horned demons? (the ones that drop steak) also seem way too slow in RTC. In the Amiga version, I get frustrated by the number of fireballs they can dodge! I suspect I might be able to increase their speed by increasing the difficulty, but I don't also want to make everythin...

[Fixed for V0.45] DMII difficulty
I compared to the Amiga (emulated) version and the RTC versions seems to be several times easier to play. For example, the bats are stupider, easier to hit and do far less damage (1-2 per hit vs. 8-15 on the Amiga) and the other monsters seem to be slower than their Amiga counterparts. Is there a wa...
