It's a shame for a rich country to not have this, pure capitalism can't work nowadays. The US is not a pure capitalist system and it works just fine, when there are reasonable regulations and governmental oversight. The social system of the US is a shame compared to their wealth. And next to that, ...

Still consider that Obama won because of the financial crisis and not because he is so much more pacifist than McCain. In terms of warfare and diplomacy, i don't think the difference is too large between both. Neither of them can go and simply shut down Guantanamo or retreat from Iraq from one day t...

How many real new ideas are there today? That's really not camparable to LotL, the dev definitely cut too many corners there. And even next to that, the game wasn't very brilliant. I never denied that, i only think he didn't deserve that much of public bashing. I can sympathize with his aim, but by...

This makes me sad. It is (or has been) the dream of many of us to have their computer game on the shelf in a shiny box. Steve Bovis worked many years for this dream and the day, the game was released, it was teared apart. Look at the pride: http://www.kentonline.co.uk/images/paper/PD1403578_l.jpg Su...

Mophus should be a sure bet, as well as Hissssa, Chani and Gothmog. Wuuf has alwaays been popular. And I have seen a Stamm Bladecaster in DDO. In CSB, i liked Itza, but an aztec might a bit lame. Plague and petal were (afair) used very often on screenshots, so they should be the most popular from CS...

Hey Paru, I made a dungeon with a similar approach (Imprisoned Again) and found out that it's very tedious to balance a hard dungeon. Simply stuffing HP on monsters won't help, because after you got a tactic to beat it, it's only some clicks to do. It can be a nice surprise here and there, but you s...

I voted 2000. While DM surely was a gem and alone reason enough to vote for it's time and there are other fine games as well (i mean, i played hundreds of them), there is nothing which beats a MMO. An evergrowing world full of people and different stuff to do. There are lots of them and i lost my he...

I just stumbled across this on wikipedia, no clue where it's from: Although the solutions to the games various puzzles are long since known, one riddle in particular seems to have remained unsolved so far. In some versions of the game (mainly the Atari ST one), there is a scroll on which the followi...

Apart from monster flooding That was fixed in the latest version - at least no more armies of knights... ;) So yes, go for Imprisoned Again, i consider it my masterpiece (which doesn't mean there are no better dungeons out there) and i wanted it to be similar to DM and without too much getting lost...
