thanks! ^_^
long story short, i have retired from the thing that not only took away most of my time, but also caused me to suffer from hypertension after a while, but that has been taken care of now T_T. so now, maybe i have a chance to continue doing light hearted fun stuff, like this!
I'm exhausted, tired and slightly delusional from sleep deprivation. I know I've got to be up at 4am for work, and dammit - I stumbled onto this thread.
Wonderful.
You just made me remember why I love this place, my little virtual realm: thankyou.
The stonework walls? Pristine. The floor? Level. The waterworks? Flowing. Central heating? The Dragon in the basement was grumpily heating the pipes. Lord Chaos consulted the blueprints again, looking for the bathroom. #playmygame!
Facial hair of the 80s... yes, that would be the work of Lord Chaos...

what i plan on doing is getting all of the dungeon master characters made up so i can further motivate myself with creating comics for the forum. comments also help with motivation a lot ^_^
there are a few actual forum members in the comic as well, such as gambit, beowuuf, ameena, cows, jan, etc... but im probably gonna steer from adding any more forum members.
speaking of the DM characters, this is a question for everyone here. any thoughts on who youd like to see next? i started off with zed since he was like the first character youd see (or alex), but im open for anyone from DM, CSB and DM2. =)
We always used to come across Iaido first...maybe it's down to which way you turn when you enter the Hall of Champions. Anyway, have you done Wuuf yet? I seem to recall you already had Hissssa and those two comprise my usual team. But Gothmog looks cool too .

no wuuf yet, but she would be fun to do though ^_^
i actually dont have hissssa, but im sure hes one of the favourites (definitely mine for sure, i use him for solo runs) i do have your black lizard character though, could alter that to be hissssa quite easily =D
Always had a soft-spot for Wu Tse, and thought it odd that she'd be presumed for a male.

Some kind of reference to a RL thing I think, where those with that title (think it's Chinese or something?) are always referred to as "Son of Heaven" even if female, if I remember rightly.

Wu Tse was The Empress of China from 690 to 705. She was referred to as “Son of Heaven” because women were not officially recognised for the position of emperor at the time. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wu_Zetian
Imagine a world where women could fight!? Crazy.
I still think she is cool anyway - I liked reading all the character backstories years ago - Dungeon Master really has precious little story for the Champions; they are just vessels for Theron really.

Love it. Dungeons need more ice cream parlours: much healthier than collecting food from the floor anyway

This is just a little something ive been wanting to ask, but how many of you are interested in reading the comics i make?
While i do certainly enjoy making them, at the same time i like to know if people do take an interest in them, since knowing that people do usually helps me get motivated a lot to make even more, and less so if not.
Perhaps DM forums itself is becoming a bit of an empty place, and maybe the end is nigh for places like these... but I like your comic-strip, if some sort of validation is what you need, .
Can I ask why you wanted to draw these comics in the first place? Because I find that - while an audience is nice to have - an audience rarely turns up.
If you love doing this, and can afford the time to do it (who can?) then carry on, I'd say.

silly post for a serious point: good luck with whatever you choose to do.
It has been a blast - and if it were to end tomorrow, I'd miss you all, no regrets.

i really appreciate the feedback you guys have given me. ^_^
i definitely enjoy working on the comics, but my concern was the lack of anyone who enjoy reading them. i love to entertain people, so its probably my biggest motivation to make them in the first place.
boyflea - i first started making the DM specific comics as a new idea during my prime years of when i made a lot of them with a friend, who initially inspired me to make my own in the first place. sadly the website he had with all of his work (some of mine too) has disappeared into the internet black hole. so there is not much history to show besides what is in this topic. =)
on that note, expect another one soon, maybe this weekend. ^_^
Aw, sorry for your loss: it is a terrible thing to lose something virtual and yet you have invested so much love and passion in that it is tangible.
Look forward to the next installment: I'll be at the front, munching popcorn, .
