Should I be killing the first few monsters that are in my way sleeping? I do not think I was suppose to kill anything but I don't see how to avoid that at the beginning. I am already stuck with the lighten the alcove riddle and a pit.

snorris says to use my power so I killed the monster on the other side of the pit

The only moster you mustn't kill are those who sleep in the big hall called "sleepy hollow". If you do it, a message warns you that you are trapped. This is a fix I added in ver. 1.1.

"Use your power" is the same riddle "Cast your influence" you saw in DM.

I am stuck in the door labyrinth in the great tree.

I explored all the labyrinth and here the summary. (i solved the 4th meditation circle)

- There a door locked by a key (the key should be near but i don't foundit )
- There are 2 slides down path (1 to the begining, 1 to the west part of the dungeon)
- There is a door where a lantern is needed
- There are two sliders ramp coming from the top floor by i am unable to reach this floor
- I saw two inacessible rooms around the labyrinth (thx to magic map)
- I found a fake wall with only 1 dagger (whats its purpose ?)
- The room in the center with the slims,does not give some glue (you can avoid this room by using exterior doors)
- The are a lot of locked door but accroding to magic map there seems to be a wall

in the shoehouse Basement theres a plate that opens a grate, but no item will Keep it pressed and u cant chase Monsters on it, and if i stepp on it i cant make it to the gate in time. also pitmaking is not an Option.

I am at the tree, there are two pressure plates, do I need that boulder for this puzzle. That boulder is 80kg, not a weight I wish to carry. Do I need the boulder?

No Chaos, something lighter is enough. For example the party, or a creature...

Hi adamsky i forwarded in the tree but i am stuck again. I become frustrated to forward a few then be blocked again. In the great tree i am in the room with amber wall.

- i found the lantern

but two doors still close and one need a key, i cannot go out of this room. Try finding switch using reveal runes spell but found nothing ...

I have found 3 so far, I used one already, spots stuck at are

the rope where there is a pit, can only press one red cross button, Gylfi rats me out in another spot, and a door where I think I needed to oil it, found the oil but can't find where to grease it

This dungeon is crazy fun, and frustration to boot.

The challenge is finding out how to bring that object where you need it. About Gylfi,

I have not found a rotating alcove yet.

Gylfi stayed asleep but that door is still closed.

I used a fireball at a wall on a rope and it destroyed the rope, it also woke them all up. Do fix the Ra keyhole, it accepts more than one. Where are the Ra doors?

You are right, those keyholes must be fixed! I can't believe I missed this. Thank you Chaos!
Try to go beyond the two pits in the area where the harpies appear .

I found the rotating tree hole with the scroll saying rotate it clockwise, it rotates but those two doors remain closed, no Ra keyhole that I can find.

Well, all the alcoves work in the same way. They need the same object.

The rope is where there is a T, and there is a pit in the middle with a rope, I cast amber wall then could destroy the rope. Also, there are some monsters that if you try to give them an item, it becomes stuck there having to replay it. I have tried to give items to monsters NPC's.

I will give this another go tomorrow, how to solve aim speed and magic trick, see a pad behind the door, and where are all those lanterns and Ra doors?
