Forum problem

Post by beowuuf »

Yesterday and today I've had occasional problems where the site will lock up, all pages simply stopping downloading. Happened yesterday and this morning, and just got it about five minutes ago. It is on multiple computers (not seen it on this laptop yet) and it clears quite quickly

I've done a ping to this site and I'm getting between 12% - 25% packet loss, which could explain this.

Also, on a side note, FlashChat is getting to "Loading settings... 0%" before giving up - I'm guessing it is the same problem.

not having any issues at all, perhaps it was a storm on their end? or they are doing an update?

I've not had any problems for a rather long time, so perhaps you all happened to be in the lucky time zone :P

I couldn't really use the forum for hours today. Now to seems to be fine again. Lol, maybe millions of Retro Gamer reading Brits overcrowded our poor server. Err, unlikely, but who knows.

I got the problem as well. It seems to come and go randomly, within minutes even. Today, everything is fine so far, though, I hope it stays that way.

I often have issues with my connection to this forum, but weirdly haven't experienced it this time.
