Forum downtimes

Post by beowuuf »

We seem to get repeated hacks on the site.

So far no lasting harm has been caused, but just to let everyone know. I guess the facebook site is a good place to see what is going on if it happens again, can anyone not on facebook yell and I can make sure I have your e-mail addresses just incase!

I'm not on facebook, but don't worry about me. If the site is down I try again later. I cannot do anything to help with hacking problems, except say "good luck, admins."

I was confused by that last night, too. When were we hacked before? There have been forum down times due to ISP problems, sure, but I don't ever remember being hacked before?

Adamo and Cows both reacted to the same hacked front page the previous night - I missed it, only seeing the no page available screen (if you typed in the forum address without the / at the end you just got an unavailable message

The forum was then hacked again later - by what cows had said, it must have been the same people - if you look at similar hacks on the net at that time, the 'black knights' were mentioned again

There were variations about the web, if you type in NetKILLER or the e-mail address a few different ones were hit, with different front pages :(
