Can a DM2 Emulator be made?

Post by Daniel (Sweden) »

Hello Folks!

Im one of all these crasy fans that bought DM2 in original and now has lost it thanks to the new computer tecnique. Even when I use Win95 the game wont work. Some days ago Simon made me aware of a dos-emulator that really works, which gave me back EOB1+2 and Ishar 1+2 and some other dos games which now is possible to play in Windows (even XP). Unfortunately DM or DM2 didnt work, but I thought that if they can make such a small program as this emulator were, shouldnt it then be possible to make som kind of emulator or additional "thing", that could move DM2 to windows the same way the dos emulator moved EOB2 to win???? Which sounds easier than a remake (even though that is very welcomed).

You're gonna have to ask the people who made the progam about that.

Then again there may be some people on this board who can do such a thing...
