Conflux 2 - The Mines *Possible Spoiler*

Post by Gambit37 »

Hmm... I think I may have messed this up. Can someone give me a tiny clue -- does it matter if you step on the numbered plates in the wrong order?

I've stood on them all but nothing's happened -- but I think I may have stood on one of them accidentally before I did the whole sequence...

Do them in order once only! The pay off (literally) is nastily hidden, so explore places you haven't been to

OK
But i do the sequence many many times ... :?

I thought that the puzzle will close the trap and will give the grey key (perhaps a solid ...). (--> sorry for spelling mistakes, i'm french)

Thanks a lot Beowolf. :D

I think the order doesn't matter in the version you have, if I remember correctly. Just step on the four plates, then search near the danger zones (with the runes). If you haven't found this zone yet, then you need a solid key first. Some mines lurkers swallowed it.

You have probably killed the lurker already - easy to generate tons of critters and not look under the dropped objects they intrinsically carry... the lurker would originally have been near the door itself I believe

Ok thanks a lot !
But it's too late :?

I continued in the mines and I find myself in moria.

I looked at the posts and I know what it remains to me to do

paper .... a pen ....a map !

Who is in your party? Certain characters can help you if you are in Moria.

I restarted the game coz I made a bad start (bad choice character, no empty flask ...)

Now, I found the solid key.

I would be interested to know what your first choice was and what your second is. I'd like to make all the characters equally interesting...

First choice was Leif (power legs) + 3 char (second warrior with the mace of Zeit, second wizard and second priest ....).
But the biggest problem was not to have found a flask and more "gourde" (can't find the good word in english, water ...).

My second choice, Leif + the dwarf (can't remember his name) + high priest + high wizard. ( "high" mean that
i found all the objets (corbum and stave) ).
Now i have 6 flasks. I've killed the council et got the turquoise key.
But i didn't do the quest of 'Moria', some doors are closed and i don't konw what to do.

Really good dungeon !!!

Zyx, i u want my savegame for tell me what i've missed ....

Gourde=waterskin

Not all the doors can be opened in the Moria; however they're not importrant, they would only be shortcuts.
The only sure goal in the Moria is... to get out of it! But you can try to defeat a certain big lizard, or try to find the upper armouries...
