Happy New Year everyone!

I won't be far from my laptop on the 31st, but come Jan. 1st I'll be heading off to Australia for a three week holiday! (without my laptop ;-) )

Nice way to start the new year, eh?!?!

Likewise, better New Year for everyone.

... New Year's without computer? without sitting alone in a dark room in front of the monitor? What kind of New Year's eve is that? ;)

Just throw the empty bottles at them and kill two of the three. Problem solved. :D

This years celebrations went somewhat better than last years... After returning home with my friends, absolutely trashed, I thought it would be a good idea to demonstrate my abilities with the Japanese Katana that was until now a perfectly good decoration on the wall. Hacking the full can of Carling in half as it was bowled to me in the garden went perfectly, but trying to chop the baubles off the tree and then play golf with them didn't quite go as well as expected. My Mum wasn't happy.

Ah yes, throw things at the screamers! I forgot how susceptible to thrown objects they were!

Happy New Year to You All My Friends! Plenty of new great dungeons are waiting to emerge from the void :). And they will show themselves, err... eventually :).

haha, good answer. :) Happy New Years for real this time, guys, even if it's a bit late. I had a great time hanging out with Selie and a bunch of my friends. We may even have pictures. :O Here's hoping 2005 is a lot of fun. :)

We'll have pictures if my mom ever emails them to me. She's very forgetful... and no, sorry, no screamers. Just me wearing my prom dress (which was a fairy-tale-princess dress, because I am just that weird) and my best friend wearing a red Chinese dress, and everybody else dressed normally. I think I might have taken some embarassing pictures of my friends, but we don't drink so no one was doing anything TOO humiliating.

The problem with DM is that it's hard to dress up as any of the characters. Or rather, it would be too easy, because they're all too simple, but out of context it would be impossible to identify them. I'm thinking about dyeing my hair daaaark brown, and if I do, maybe I will pretend I'm Chinese and dress like Wu Tse! Simple enough.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear you all seem to have had a good New Year's celebration. ^_^

Hmm..ok then. Guess you would end up having quite dull conversations with the whole concept of the screamers..i mean if you want to stay in character and all...

BFS: *IEEEK* ( hi, Selie! )
Selie: *FIEEEEP* ( hey..why are you talking to my back? )
BFS: *MIEEK, MIEEK* ( dunno, have no eyes )

and what's with the new year's kiss...that would just be a couple of clonking sounds!
I'm gonna sleep in the rat room.

I think it is quite amazing that Oitus speak the same language. Same with painrats and dragons. A little monosyballic, but hey, any walking tree that can speak deserves respect.

SO. What do you guys think a screamer slice would taste like? BFS and I were arguing about it the other day. I always thought it looked kind of like melon, but he says it looks like broccoli and would probably taste like broccoli. Maybe ... broccoli-flavored melon?

That's a good answer. I think we can go with that.

In which case, no wonder my party seems to like them so much. Mango is tasty.

I always imagined them to taste like Giant Puffballs, you know, the strange fungi that sometimes grows in fields. Now worm-rounds. the thought just turns my stomach.
