Topaz key

Post by Froud »

Ive completed the game, but still have the Topaz key which looks kind of important. I believe this is used some where on the Chaos level. But I cant get the monsters to leave me alone for a moment to have a good look for any where I haven't discovered yet.

Can anyone help me with the location and if it gives access to anything of interest ?

Lol, sorry, don't know the key... even checking through CSBuild all I can tell is it is a randomly placed key, so not vital, just a bonus key like the skeleton key I guess...

Oh, just checked again on the Chaos level, and found it. You need to go through the double key of B door at the bottom right of the level

You could watch some of the CSB records, like the 18 minute and 40 minute ones, they will show you where it is.

It opens an alternate and less intense (but less obvious) route to the Ful Ya pit. Have a look at it in CSBuild.

And, if you don't mind a bit of green smoke, you
can open the same, alternate route with other things.

I've stopped to wonder about "for what is this key...?" long ago. I'm just now in the middle of my thirth way and in my inventory are:
10 Iron Keys
4 Keys of B
3 Cross Keys
2 Gold Keys
1 Emerald Key
1 Onyx Key
1 Master Key
and finally 1 Skeleton Key (just found this damn Giggler carrying it).

Before starting with CSB i never thought, i need chests for all the keys... Now i feel like the CSB-facilitymanager with a very big bunch of keys. ;-)

P.S.: See also my small advertisement in the "Chaos Daily News": "Offering Keys in exchange for coins and/or armor parts. Call 555-CHAOS." :D
