Creating a Table?

Is there a way to create a Table? I tried to use a cloned alcove on an invisible wall and that didn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions? Should this be something that is fixed in the engine to allow this?

It is somehting that should be added to the game engine - I would think it is on a dusty card somewhere as possible something to be done...maybe...

Maybe we should try to dust this card off...? I can think of tons of uses for it.
