Dungeon Master for DSB

Post by Joramun »

Download this dungeon from this Shared OneDrive (in the 'Custom Dungeons' folder)

Don't forget to give some feedback.

CREDITS :
  • FTL for the original game.
GG for RTC and the text file I relentlessly parsed using RTSB.
and especially Sophia for DSB, the "Romanian gymnast of DM Clones".

[fixed in dsb test 14] Apart from a nasty crash in DSB 12, that didn't occur in previous versions, I can optimistically announce that DM for DSB and my dungeon converter (RTSB) are now 99% ready, thanks to Sophia's essential help.

I will now work on CSB, to release it for DSB too.

EDIT : DM Released

I can host them, but my bandwidth is limited, so I'd prefer to upload them to another website, probably one of the community.

I'm not sure everything will work perfectly, but an exhaustive testing requires a release.

It's far from beta version though, because I expect everything to work, at least in DM.

To be cleared :
- amalgam animation : is it ok ?
- timed traps : are they too fast or too slow ?
- alternate end : is it the good effect ?

It's almost a word for word translation from the RTC DM_Original version.

I have plenty of room at:
http://www.dianneandpaul.net/CSBwin/Games/

If you put it together as a complete
package (all needed files in a single .ZIP)
along with a description and instructions
then you would be welcome to put it there.

Sorry for the lot of edits in my posts, but I felt it was the best place to release the dungeon.

I didn't erase anything essential to the discussion, though.

Please test and make comments on DSB's first "custom dungeon" :D

Well, this dungeon gets the DSB engine an entry in the custom dungeons list so yes, it is it's first custom - you even gbet the bold face and top spot for it being the DM dungeon ported across :D
