I had two crashes when I tried to load the music version:

RTC (V0.45) Diagnostic file - Wed Apr 18 07:51:09 2007

Error:
an access violation exception.

Stack Dump:
RTCModule.DIOLAN();
RTC.LD();
RTC.InitSecondary();
RTC.ProgStateIntroContinue2();
RTC.DoFrame(int 7);
RTC.WinMain();

RTC (V0.45) Diagnostic file - Wed Apr 18 07:51:16 2007

Error:
an access violation exception.

Stack Dump:
utilMemory.utilFreeFindBlock(pointer 0x69A8D0D4, char 0);
utilMemory.utilFree(pointer 0x69A8D0D4, char 0);
utilMemBlock.Destroy();
utilB.Destroy();
RTCModule.DIOLAN();
RTC.LD();
RTC.InitSecondary();
RTC.ProgStateIntroContinue2();
RTC.DoFrame(int 7);
RTC.WinMain();

Is it me or my version of RTC (0.45 download as far as I know)?

The no music file does not download correctly (I cannot unzip it)

The correction file was up-loaded because there was a bug.
>beowuuf
I can play correctly.
Is the password "dm" input and have it defrosted correctly?
I do not understand the cause.
Can it be correctly played it no music?

The cause is my previous 0.45 engine, it might be a playtest version I mis-named

The no music version I could not download - will try again later!

Only briefly played, but already theer are some interesting ideas with individual abilities, spells, and some of the items (such as two handed weapons and bundles fo throwing items)

One question - what is the 'drow' sword option doing? It seems to ready the weapon to use, but I do not understand the reason

Maybe a typo of "draw"?

Ok, I finished the demo, though I may have missed soemthing.

So far so good! The champions stand out (though I did not take some of the more interesting characters for my first run) and I have yet to try out most of the spells.

The spellbook and action on the chests were good, as are the weapon options. I think you have a good idea of what you are doing and the dungeon you are creating with lots of nice touches.

The corridor of pits was devious!

I'm not sure about the large spaces in some areas though, that is my personal preference when playing as I test for hidden walls all the time

If you have any specific questions you can pm me so it doens't spoil it for others of course!

OK, The misspelling of DRAW is corrected.
I'm not sure about the large spaces in some areas though, that is my personal preference when playing as I test for hidden walls all the time
I hate switch and passage not understood easily of the concealment.
:wink:

beowuuf and sophia, Thank you for a lot of impressions.
But, The one included in this demo version is only part of my idea.
I make the impression written here work hard, and am making continuation.
That have more rune (new magic), item, and interesting AI monster etc. will be able to be discovered in the town that the party visits as follows. :D
Please forgive poor English.

Tonari,
just started playing this through. Have to say I like it. I like some of the new ideas (custom weapons for certain characters, different monsters), and did like the opening sequence. Will be very interested to see the next version. I liked especially the special abilities of some of the monsters (the slime stood out for me). be very interested to see the completed version. I liked the idea of the spellboo having a list of the custom spells inside it, that was a wonderful idea. Overall, I would give this a good 8/10 so far for atmosphere, feel and originality. Brilliant

I forgot to say that I liked the flow of the dungeon - the exploration never goes back on itself nor becomes annoying

I think a save point closer to the long corridor pit puzzle might be an idea

Keep up the good work! :D

To summarize the previous exchange, including this post, I said that I liked this dungeon a lot, and that it had an intro sequence, and such. The presence of music, though a bit un-DM, was also really great. The game does plenty to draw you into its world, and that's nice. The English was a little sketchy, but it's not a big deal, and I offered to help with that, if Tonari would like. I was truly impressed, and perhaps a bit overwhelmed, by the number of characters' unique abilities available. I wondered if it was perhaps too much, but, Tonari stated that he likes dungeons that don't have a whole lot of hints laid out. I then stated that I tend to like a few more hints. For example, on the Snake Road, I really wasn't sure what I was supposed to do.

Oh, and I also asked about the title, and Tonari said it is a pun on the Japanese title of CSB: Chaos no Gyakushuu (Chaos' Counterattack, literally)

I hope by all means.
I send an English, Japanese opening message with PM.
on the Snake Road, I really wasn't sure what I was supposed to do.
You have only overlooked the key.
The compass might be served in Snake Road.
Please forgive poor English.

Is making stamina potions not supposed to work when your skill is higher than the level of potion you want to make?

I think the stamina potion has been removed in favour of intelligent use of force and killing the special screamers!

Yes. I removed stamina potion.
Stamina potion was thought that the importance of stamina disappeared because it was strong. The difference of the stamina of the character becomes not important, too. The ability and arms that consume stamina are too useful.
Recovery item was made as a bailout.
However, it numbers is limited.
Please forgive poor English.

Has it ever been in use with a different engine/editor version than V0.49?

Should you still be around - could you maybe provide the source files for backup puposes, please? Of course the decision about uploading them publicly or not will remain yours alone.
