There was one my dad played for a bit, a few months ago, which I think was called "Sherwood". Despite the name, it wasn't anything to do with Robin Hood (other than that there was an NPC in the starting castle place called Maid Marion). There's also a site somewhere...oh sod it I just went and found the link for you...anyway here's this site with a whole massive list of MMORPGs - some you only have limited access unless you play, many are a download but I've tried a few in the past and they've been okay...
