Changing the interface

I did a quick search so sorry if this has been raised. I was looking at what interface components could be changed, and not being much of a pixel pusher I simply recoloured the arrows and weapon boxes. I was looking for a way to change the rune graphics, is this possible (yet) ? ps I do have an alte...

Seconded, if only so you can have the same audible cues for walls moving as you get from doors opening/closing.

Never had an A4000 :( too pricey, although eventually i towered an A1200 with HDD 040 and CD-RW it was nice. Now I have another 030 A1200 but no mouse but I still use UAE for Personal Paint 7.1 and Colonization. :D

Generating new characters

Does anyone have any good ideas for ways to generate "accurate" stats for characters to be added to a dungeon ? I want to add "naturally" progressed stats for my Hall of Champions.

Over-ride the built in difficulty auto-scaler.

At present it isn't possible to use "Super Parties" in RTC because the engine auto-scales the dungeon difficulty. I suggest giving the dungeon designer the ability to over-ride that action. Let's face it, it didn't matter to CSB how hard the party you imported from DM was. Although it's a ...

I took a look at this, and yes you CAN crash the engine with that particular teleporter set up, I looked at other ways of achieving the same (functional teleporters not crashes) @Gambit Look in your hotmail dude will that do your job. It is simpler but it does the same job.

Splendid idea, that could add a touch of realism, maybe if each giggler could be allocated a certain number of "pockets" you could fool them be dropping your trash for them to collect, or maybe they have a hoard tile where they go when they are x% full.

The last toggle would be a wall item relay which when triggered by the floor trigger would toggle the floor trigger into an off (inactive) state.

Yes alcoves work because the editor likes them, I tried with a large crack and there is no where for the objects to reside.

Cloning switch

How about a switch for cloned monsters to stop the dropping there default stuff ie rocks from rockpile. This would help when cloning monsters giving more scope and flexability. I wanted to make a baby green dragon that poisoned as a scorpion or swamp slime but couldnt make the monster for lack of a ...

I have been thinking we need more access to the core engine and this is one of the areas. I too noticed the Conflux II switch and was curious as to how it worked. Please GG open up RTC to allow better "actuators" the abilityto make items ie set attribute bonuses types of item etc. Go on, g...

Wow I didn't know people felt so strongly about this. This is an idea I had many years ago when playing DM/CSB back in the heady Amiga/ST days. Using e.g. Personal Paint 7 on UAE to make the basic layout of a, say 16 level dungeon would be much faster then with the editor. I'm not suggesting using M...

RTCED Suggestion: Import/Export to 2 color bitmap

How about an import bitmap feature for floor/wall layout. Make your layout in black and white and the ed can read this as White floors black walls. Then you can use nice painting tools to make floor layouts. :)
