Explaination

a. I have, yes, closed the main site. The reasons are some personal, some which I am glad to share. I really do not have the time - I am a student and I am seriously struggling right now so I can't carry on. I once talked about making a "new" version of Dan's site but I know I could never ...

I am working on a new dungeon with no complementary food whatsoever. To get food, you need to kill Screamers (which, I need to admit, there are a lot of) or pay for it.

It means the text you see at the bottom of the screen ie "Welcome back brave adventurers" in DM or "Prove you are a wizard" in CSB.
Ian

A DM playing song

I have just stumbled across DM song. It is an old Pulp demo called 'Take You Back', it has a spooky, repeated keyboard with Jarvis whispering some spooky lyrics over the top of it, then it breaks into a loud, drummed, shouted section. Also, Air's 'Virgin Suicides' score is great for playing DM to......

Pulp became famous in the 1990's but had been going since 1978. The songs I was on about were from 1984-7 when they released some depressing B-Sides which were about dead people, 'Manon' is about someone who keeps a corpse in his home and picks flesh from her bones while 'Silence' likens the bedroom...

I listen to 'The Virgin Suicides Score' by Air French Band whilst playing DM, 'Dead Bodies' is extremely scary in some parts. Anyone love them? And you can't beat a good bit of Pulp's earlier, scary stuff like 'Manon' and 'Silence'...

Hi, Nice to meet you! The dungeons on my site are for PC DM unless it says otherwise. There is one for Amiga CSB by Simon and it should say that on the page. I have just done a tiny dungeon which is based upon someones' description of the "Kid Dungeon". It will be included in the next upda...

I have always had exactly the same problem. I don't think there is a way to correct it, I haven't tried the Amiga version so I wouldn't know about that... :|

I should think the Amiga one would work ok with sound.

It is possible to teleport onto a square with monsters and kill them, ie if the screamers near the "None shall pass" part on L2 are on the adjacent square to the teleporter when you step in it, they die. I doubt we could do it to Chaos because he can teleport himself, it would be a challen...
