well it worked!.. now I need an original DM file that has beginning level stats on the characters. I tried all L Bridges modules and the character stats are too high to play original DM with....... and I just discovered I can alter the stats in DMute too lol Thanks for the help, I would have never ...

I thought I might share a neat website, its a bunch of early 90s and late 80s games that run on dos box. The exciting part (for me at least) is its an exe. file, one click and it installs the game, gives you a pretty little icon and you just click and play.

one more thing i think is along the same lines, I remember my dad not being able to beat DM when i was young and he heard something about altars of rebirths loweing your character stats permenately each time you use it... anyone heard of this? Ive never used them because of this ...

he had a stroke at some point, I dont think he did much after that. i met his wife at his little private museum in pennslvania in 2003 while on a school trip, he was there unfortunately.
