Evil, sinister, it's worse.
Undertanding what' s hidden in the scrolls is quite useless.
"Elija the beggar" completed the game without getting the scrolls. :)

The second link in the original post works.
I understand, this link is to a first version, and, the new version is the same game but new graphics at the user interface.

Re: [Not a bug] Recursive teleporters / triggers crash

I repeat: Two teleporters pointing at each other should NOT crash RTC if only one of them is active at a given time. It crashes, it is clear why it crashes. IMO it is a bug. The user should not be asked to waste his time with workarounds and twisted ways to do simple things. The real time implementa...

Re: Fullscreen mode doesn't work (DSB 0.55)

To me, I have the full screen mode working as well as the double window mode. However I am not fully happy. The sreen, I am using is a 1680x1050. 1) In full screen, I have the trouble of the wide display giving obese stuff. ( I had a 1280 x 1024 screen but it recently went South :( ) 2) In double wi...

Exvars

How can I find the Exvars which are relevant to a specific object ( or should I say a specific archetype ?) ? Is the dungeon_test giving an exhaustive answer ( all Exvars applicable to each available object ) ? Here is the struggle I had with a floortext. To enter a text, I saw ESB asking an Exvar n...

Re: Game music you love, from back in the day...

Thanks for the Betrayal at Krondor musics. I remember chests to open with "secret" words. Too easy cheating: Opening the file one could read alll of them, plain text. Could not finish the game. I got stuck at an intersection with medusas, found no way but, ending turned into stone. http://...

Re: (fixed) Lua error when bashing door

I guess, you mean the fix will be in the next DSB release.

I get this "Lua error when bashing door" in DSB version 0.55.
Kicking a door or using it to bang the head of monsters does the error too.
No error when breaking the door with fire balls.

How to display the value of a counter on a wall ?

I wonder how it is done. I saw this in RTC "Girth of life". At a place with a green button, a wall text that displays 0, a blue button. When clicking on the green button, the wall text value increments. ( the blue, decrements ). One can go far positive or far negative. With RTC it is easy ...

@Sofia,
May be a fresh XP install would give the same result.
Fresh Widows run well then gradually go bad getting old, from shit apps installs/uninstalls I guess.
Not sure a Virtual XP will not do as a XP.
I am interested to know about the advantages of Virtualisation.

About the OP pics: NO BUG. Compass and texts are correct. @SU: You want a marine compass. Hi Dungeon Master folk. What an amazing website I can't believe I only just discovered it... How can a character without any manna learn to cast spells?
War cry is a priest skill. Practice in war cries can give a priest level and a start of manna
I am not sure about this trick, wether I was told or used it.
