Hmmmmm... Please send the smallest dungeon text in which the trouble occur. It appears the forum software doesn't give you a direct access to e-mail -addresses, so I don't know where to send. It happened on the Dungeon Master -RTC-txt (I'd suspect that it also happens on the other official dungeons...

I have not seen it. Java library class "java.text.DecimalFormat" formats like "15.0", if it's not '.' but ',', you may have to update JRE, I heard the class is buggy in old JRE. I installed 1.5.0 and it still puts ',' where there should be '.' I just hate to have bugs others don...

Yes, well it seems to depend on something whether it happens or not. I was just creating a small dungeon, and the party was saved okay.

Do you mean it doesn't screw up with commas? This has definitely happened to me everytime.

Wow, great editor, congratulations! During my experimentations I discovered one bug: Everytime I save RTC-dungeon txt-file, it screws up the ATTRS and EXP_LEVELs of the initial party members. All the ATTRS go to 1 and EXP to 0,0. Although I think it doesn't do it always. More experimenting needed. O...

Well, I was on the 5th grade when I played Doom every day, several hours a day. I was already familiar with Wolfenstein 3-D at that time, and I'd think I started playing it somewhere on the 3rd grade and I don't think neither of those games affected me in any negative way. Not that I'm entirely heal...

GAME: Strange crash when loading

Yesterday, I played DM-RTC (v0.28) "all the way down" to level 2 (choose your destiny). Played half of the chambers, saved, and quitted. Now when I try to 'Resume' the game, RTC crashes to desktop, and diags-file says: Error: an access violation exception. Stack Dump: RTC.DoFrame(int 111);...

Hah, I know what you're talking about... I have Trillian installed, so I get notified everytime I get e-mail... And it's such a disappointment, when that e-mail turns out to be either: "Enlarge your Penis safely!" or "Enlarge your breast!" (I'm a male), or "Quit smoking in 7...

Re: DMute v1.4!

Wow, I really didn't see that coming! Maybe you could accompany DMute with a blank dungeon, so that creating new dungeons would be more convenient. Even now, the threshold of making new dungeons has lowered quite a bit, at least for me! Even though DMute can't handle everything, the details can be w...

Yes, I believe that was the case. I was always under the impression, that there are NO Zytazes initially on that level. Killed 7 of them. After that, no signs of them anywhere :)

The Final Level

I'm currently exploring the FUL YA-pit level. The Hint Oracle says, that if I have the Crown of Nerra and Pendant Feral, the Zytazes would stop generating. I have both of these items, but there are still zytazes bugging me. Do I have to wear them, hold them in hand or place them somewhere? I'm using...

The Beginning of DDD

When at the beginning of the DDD level, there is a room full of fire elementals. Is it important to venture into that room? Because I always manage kill two, three tops Elementals before I die and they keep respawning.

Yes, I know all that, it's just that I have a feeling of LOSS not having to go through...everything. It's almost too easy this way. I hope DAIN proves to be a longer path. (It's also my least explored path to date.)

Skeleton Annihilator in NETA

In the Neta/Ros-place near DDD, where there is a skeleton generator and you have to trap skeletons behind the iron grate, there was suppose to be a lightning bolt thrower behind the grate when on the NETA path. Well, just played that and I had to kill the skeleton with poison clouds. No lightning. A...

Savegame crashes in .22

I've had odd crashes when loading a save. First it happened to me in DM, where I had saved on the Treasure Stores-level. When I tried to load that save -> crash. Now it happened to me in CSB, where I saved on the DDD-level (during KU); Tried to load -> crash. RTC gives me this: RTC Diagnostic file -...

Hmm. I watched a movie in CSB4WIN. The vexirk was chased down the corridor which leads to the VI altar. This can't be (at least I can't) accomplished in RTC.

Re: Darkness spell

I think the Darkness-spell is used to track down monster. There is a way of a making monsters' footprints visible in darkness. Well, as far as I remember. I have never used it, the only situation where there MIGHT be some use to it is when you're chasing a giggler.

Fixed?

Odd. I re-compiled CSB-dungeon with an additional cheat character for bug-finding purposes. I tried the "Trap the mummies"-puzzle again, and now it worked. I hadn't touched any part of the dungeon items, so it seems my previous save was/is somehow corrupted.

A couple of miscellaneous suggestions

1. How about a counter, which counts how many monsters you have killed during your adventure? If possible, count all the different monster kills (like 45 mummies, 12 rock piles, 666 deth knights etc.). 2. Damage tile could be have more functions. At first make it "continuous damage", as so...

Scorpion & Green Gem area in ROS

In Ros, where you have to fetch the green gem which activates a fireball launcher, there's a couple of bugs. 1) The doors you can close to protect the party should be "DOOR_WOODEN_WINDOW_RECTANGLE", not "DOOR_WOODEN". Is this is an intended difference to original? DOOR_WOODEN are...

Water Elemental drain-bug (0.20)

In the cistern there are water elementals and drains in the floor. Whenever a WE drops down in one, my characters abt. 60000 damage. This usually kills my first character, and the others receive 130000-200000 health. Quite incredible! (of course the healths get fixed when healing injuries..)

Beowuuf, did you know that 'humina' is actually finnish, and translates as 'humming'... So it doesn't mean cool  (at least for me!)

V0.20 is quite great despite the still-remaining bugs...
