Not quite. My PC does have speakers, but they do me no good. I've been deaf for over 4 years now. Is there anywhere I can get some more light bombs? I threw them all here trying to see the pit, but every time I did it was open; so I'm not even sure if it's closing at all right now. I hit the small wall button by the floor, if that helps. But seriously, I feel kinda screwed here. I guess all I can do is keep waiting different lengths of time then trying to run across it, hoping for the best.

Shame on you for stealing a deaf man's sense of sight, though. Nah, I'm just kidding with you. I think this is a pretty cool idea for a puzzle, even if it is driving me up a wall. I didn't come this far in this dungeon to give up, so I'll keep at it.

I'll bet that it would be possible to add text
'Click', 'Clunk', 'Squeek' (or whatever) to the
design to make it more accessible. I'll have
admit I never considered this possibility myself.

I'm sorry Sealtiel, I didn't know. Playing this level without hearing the sounds (pit, switches, monsters in the dark) is a tough challenge.
In case you can't pass this point I could finish the section using your save. There is a problem with sounds in the next level too, but with the map it can be solved.

Have you tried

finding the maximum and minimum values you can get in the water pressure room?

Also, have you tried to

find out how the water pressure valves work? Try keeping all but one the same and then toggling that one until you can see a pattern.

I found out that

That is correct,

by changing this valve you can increase/decrease the water pressure by 2 points.

putting the two above things together to get the minimum water pressure should help.

I am still plodding forward .
1. I do not have the key for the bottom of the well of fortune.
2. I have not figured out how to get azell's ghost to do anything except move when I yell.
3. What do I do in the priest council after I release the mummy?
4. I have only the thief clan piece and the warrior clan piece.
5. the door near the flame pit is unsolved.
6. where do I use the rainstaff?
7. Should I just start over and take better notes?
8. What are the things that I should concentrate on to get into the tower?
9. This game is unbelievable. replayability? Like no other game before it. Collosal. I am not a stupid person, but I am obviously in the shallow end of this pool of players.

Hiroyuki, what's the worst enemy of the wax? A logical answer could be "a fireball", but the waxman (when he's a monster) has too many health points to be defeated in this way. Consider that a wounded monster regains all its energy when changes back to a statue and in this condition is invulnerable to magic and weapons.

Try a way to harm him continually with a non-magic and non-material "weapon", taking advantage of his weak point.

The wizard eye could work if you don't look at the waxman, I haven't tried this way.

After countless tries, I made it past the dark room and now I'm in the maze of a thousand stairs. I thought I was doing fine, but I'm not really sure where I'm supposed to be going. I guess that's the point of it being a maze. Found a few fake walls, with some good stuff behind them; and some remains that don't want to be moved.

I could've gone the rest of my life without the surprise materializers, though. I'm terrified of those things. The new hammer is awesome, though. Oh, and I wanted to ask; is it normal for Alexei to rejoin the party with almost no mana at all? I mean, he had over 200 when he left and he came back with about 30. Interestingly, though; his strength came back at 219. That makes it hard to complain, now I just use him as a melee machine; but I'm pretty sure that wasn't supposed to happen.

So I did what I was supposed to do at the mirror in the stair maze, and now I have a new scroll. I'm afraid that the hint on it is just a bit too vague, though. Or then again, I may just be overlooking something. In any case, I've tried "dipping" at every place I can think of that might be relevant; even so far back as the garden of delights. I'll keep doing random things, hoping something cool will happen; but between the respawns of all the nasty spellcasting critters in the stair maze, I get tired of looking around and not getting anywhere.
