Help with DM Nexus Sega Saturn

hello all I like playing new games on the Sega Saturn a lot of them being imports. Well I just got DM Nexus for the SS and the manual is all in Japanese. I did some big searches on Google for information mostly on how to cast spells and how to form them, the first spell I learned from a scroll was touch light . I now have an explanation of what the symbols are in words and a short list of spells/potions. I know that the first thing you do is choose the strength of the spell/potion then the next 3 symbols are the level of the spell/potion and what you want to make or cast.

1. Out of all of the DM games is there a complete list of all spells and how to form them?

2. Are all games spells compatible with all DM games? IE: is a health potion symbols for DM1 the same for DM Nexus?

Would any of you be able to point me in the right direction so I may really enjoy this game. I am sure you could play the game with only fighters but I want to bring a Mage so I can cast spells and a Priest to make potions and such.

Welcome to the forums

1.) The page you linked to has a sub-page listing the spells (http://dmweb.free.fr/?q=node/457). Each game linked from that page also has a sub-page for spells.

2) Some spells are missing or added to the various games, but there are no duplicates with spell runes.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have already printed that list from the link you posted, so my next question is: Is that list complete? Are there spells missing? Do I need anything else to enjoy the game?

No more spells as I understand it. You might need one or two of the translations from the encyclopaedia for a couple of the later puzzles, but that is about it.
